United Way Centraide North East Ontario Accepting Program Funding Applications

United Way Centraide North East Ontario - Thursday, 12 December 2019

UWCNEO is pleased to announce that Program Funding applications are now being accepted within the City of Greater Sudbury.

Registered charities delivering local programs that fit within our Community Impact Areas of addressing poverty, building strong communities and helping kids be all they can be are required to register their intent to apply for funding by December 18, 2019. Qualifying charities that meet the requirements will then be invited to complete our online application by January 16, 2020,” says Linda Dupuis, governance and partnership manager with UWCNEO.

To apply for Sudbury Program Funding, agencies must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a Registered Canadian Charity
  • The program must have been operational for one complete year before applying for United Way funding
  • The program aligns with United Way’s focus areas
  • The program must be situated in the City of Greater Sudbury
  • The program demonstrates impact
  • The program applies evidence-based effectiveness

December 18, 2019 - Registration of Intent
January 16, 2020 - Application deadline
