The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program Temporarily Closed

United Way Centraide North East Ontario - Tuesday, 25 February 2020

NOTICE:
COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX PROGRAM IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED

RE: Coronavirus, COVID - 19

United Way Centraide North East Ontario/Nord-est de l’Ontario is closely monitoring emerging information related COVID-19. As our entire community takes precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the virus, the decision has been made to close the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program until further notice.

“This situation requires our organization to be prepared for the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus. With thousands of people accessing this service, the decision to temporarily close the program is a preventative measure that we feel is necessary,” says Mary Lou Hussak, executive director with UWCNEO. “We will continue to monitor information provided by Health Canada and look forward to re-opening the program when it is appropriate.”

Updates and additional information related to revised hours of operation will be shared as they become available.

Thank you in advance for understanding.

Sincerely,
Board of Directors, United Way Centraide North East Ontario/Nord-est de l’Ontario
