Tampon Tuesday 2021
United Way Centraide North East Ontario - Saturday, 13 February 2021
We need your help, period.
Nobody should have to choose between feeding their family and being able to afford menstrual hygiene products. Yet far too many individuals – especially those living in poverty – simply can’t afford them. UWCNEO in partnership with the Sudbury and District Labour Council are excited to host the 5th annual Tampon Tuesday initiative in Sudbury.
Three easy ways for you to get involved today!
- Make a financial donation on our website. Cheques made payable to United Way Centraide North East Ontario and cash contributions will also be accepted.
- Start a collection drive at your workplace. We can supply you with posters and messaging!
- Purchase a box (or two) of products the next time you’re at the grocery store or pharmacy and drop them off at our no-contact drive thru event on March 9, 2021.
Product donations from workplaces will be collected from March 2 – 23, 2021. UWCNEO’s no contact drive thru event on Tuesday, March 9th will take place between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at 957 Cambrian Heights Drive in Sudbury.
Not sure what to buy?
Requested products include pads, cloth pads, tampons, liners, diva cups, and period underwear
