Cambrian Ford Partners with United Way to Drive Change
Community service has always been an essential part of Ford’s heritage. Locally, Cambrian Ford and their employees have a long tradition of supporting United Way Centraide North East Ontario/ Nord-est de l'Ontario through their annual ‘Give Back to the Community’ program, and this year is no different. Throughout November, Cambrian Ford will drive community change by donating $100 for every vehicle purchased.
“By partnering with United Way, we know that we are helping to build a vibrant community. A community where everyone has the opportunity to succeed” says Scott McCulloch, President of Cambrian Ford. “The type of community we envision takes work. It takes partnerships, exploring new opportunities and sharing collective goals.”
Michael Cullen, Executive Director with UWCNEO, adds “The issues that impact many people in our community are complex, they are unignorable. By going beyond a single issue and the temporary fixes, we create lasting change that becomes building blocks for a brighter future. We value the commitment of Cambrian Ford, their employees, and their customers. Their collective efforts are driving positive change in neighbourhoods across our community.”
Last year, over 36,000 individuals from across the northeast benefitted from a United Way program or service targeted at helping kids succeed, building stronger communities, and moving people from poverty to possibility.
