Nastassia McNair 

N.McNairI am a recent graduate of Lakehead University’s Master of Public Health program and I also hold an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Major in French from the University of Western Ontario. I am currently working as a Health and Wellness Assistant for New Day Wellness and through my participation in United Way’s GenNext Cabinet, I hope to become more involved with the community and encourage volunteerism among other young adults.

     
Jessica Penteris

J.PenterisI am an Advertising Account Manager with Sudbury Living Magazine Group and Northern Life Newspaper. I have acquired a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, a Diploma in Public Relations, and a Graduate Certificate in Advertising. My goal with GenNext is to promote awareness and encourage other young professionals to get involved with United Way through giving and volunteering.

Joshua Osika 

J.OsikaI am a graduate of the Economics MA program at the University of Waterloo. I completed my undergraduate program, as well as a graduate diploma in Science Communication, at Laurentian University. I currently work as a research assistant with the Centre for Rural and Northern Health Research. I’m working with GenNext to get involved in my community and encourage others to do the same.

 
Katrina Pisani

K.PisaniI am a Research Assistant at Science North, focusing on visitor engagement and experiences. I have a BA Honours degree in Psychology and an MSc in Mental Health. I decided to be a part of GenNext to get involved with my community, have fun and meet new people. I want to engage other young adults and spread awareness for the United Way and all the amazing things this organization does for our community.

Emily Reade

E.ReadeOriginally from Ottawa, I moved to Sudbury a few years ago. In Ottawa, I earned a pharmacy technician diploma and worked full-time in pharmacy. Since living here, I have been branching out and trying new things, such as volunteering for the United Way, participating in the Day of Caring, joining the board of NESPN (North East Suicide Prevention Network) and participating in community activities. I love living here in Sudbury and enjoy being actively involved in this community!

 
Jessica Savage 

J.SavageI have acquired a BA Honours degree in Psychology, a Post-Baccalaureate certificate in Addictions and Mental Health and am currently completing my MA in Counselling Psychology. Having recently returned to Sudbury, I decided to become a part of GenNext as a way to re-engage with my community, promote awareness and learn from all individuals who make Sudbury the city it is. I hope to encourage other young professionals to share their passion for helping others and continue to strive for positive community development and social action.

Sebastian Shushan 

S.ShushanI am studying business at Laurentian University. One day I will be the CEO of a company that moves the world in a positive direction. I am grateful that there are opportunities like GenNext and the Young Leaders on Board Program through United Way Centraide which foster the growth and development of aspiring leaders.

 
Maxine Vincent

M.VincentI am an employee at Laurentian University in the Treasury department. Prior to that I was a student in Commerce where I specialized in Human Resources and Accounting. My passions include reading, traveling, and anything involving the outdoors. I'm constantly looking for opportunities, such as GenNext, to meet new people, give back to the community and to learn new things because I think it's important for personal growth.
