'Pull for United Way' is Back!

United Way Centraide North East Ontario - Thursday, 12 September 2019

Are you ready for the biggest pull around? A 25,000 lbs Canadore Challenger, you and nine of your closest friends, and 100’ of effort and determination all in support of your community?

On Friday, September 27th, United Way Centraide North East Ontario/Nord-est de l’Ontario will be hosting the 3rd annual ‘Pull for United Way’ in partnership with 22 Wing/Canadian Forces Base North Bay, YYB Jack Garland Airport and Voyageur Aviation.

‘Pull for United Way’ is a friendly competition where teams plan and strategize ways to pull a Canadore Challenger across the finish line in record time. What’s on the line? Bragging rights for an entire year, the opportunity to dethrone the two-time champions and your team name forever etched in the coveted Plane Pull Plaque.

Participation is easy…

  • Recruit a team of 5 or 10 people
  • Register your team by September 25, 2019
  • Collect a minimum of $20 each
  • Get ready to pull!

Plan to join us for a barbecue luncheon immediately following the Pull. The cost is $5/person.

Proceeds from the event will benefit local programs and services that are helping to create pathways out of poverty in the Nipissing District.
