Northeast Ontario — December 1, 2025 – United Way Centraide North East Ontario/Nord-est de l’Ontario (UWCNEO) is now accepting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for its 2026/2027 Community Fund. Registered charities and qualified organizations serving the districts of Sudbury, Manitoulin, Timiskaming, Cochrane, Nipissing, and Parry Sound are invited to apply from December 1, 2025, to January 14, 2026 at UWCNEO.com.
The funding application process is three-step:
- Confirm eligibility.
- Submit an Agency Expression of Interest.
- Organizations whose EOIs are approved will be invited to complete a full online funding application link within 2 business days.
“Frontline social service providers are essential to building healthier, more inclusive communities,” said Cory Roslyn, Executive Director of UWCNEO. “Through our funding, we aim to support programs that make a measurable difference, addressing pressing challenges such as poverty, mental health, and overall community well-being.”
For 2026/2027, all funding applications must demonstrate alignment with UWCNEO’s commitment to one or more of the following focus areas:
- Helping Kids Be All That They Can Be
- Building Strong and Healthy Communities
- Helping Move People from Poverty Into Possibility
