There are many ways you can make difference in the community with United Way. We are happy to work with individuals and groups to customize an opportunity for you.

 

Current opportunities are available:

Always United: Join a network of adults aged 55+ making meaningful contributions in the community while maintaining social connections.

Keeping Seniors Warm: Help our community’s older generation purchase winter gear to help keep them warm and safe.

Campaign Cabinet: Join a team of passionate community-minded individuals dedicated to creating sustainable funding options to support programs and services in our region.

Care Kits: A great team-building activity, care kits are vital for women dealing with gender-based violence and individuals living in poverty.

Employee Champions: A strong workplace campaign starts with committed Employee Champion. If you are interested in starting a United Way Workplace Campaign, we would love to hear from you.

Young Leaders on Board: United Way matches local voluntary sector boards with interns looking for mentorship as they prepare to be leaders in the community.

Community Income Tax Volunteers: Tax savvy individuals are always in need to support our Community Volunteer Income Tax Program to help low-income families prepare their taxes and access monetary benefits. Training is provided.

Impact Speakers: Are you a dynamic speaker with a story to tell about how United Way has helped you or a loved one? SHARE YOUR STORY!

Hold a fundraiser: When you organize a third-party fundraiser, you are helping raise vital funds to tackle key issues in our community.
