Our targeted investments reflect community conditions and are allocated to where they will have the greatest impact. These targeted investments support frontline programs and services in communities throughout the North East District.
UWCNEO’s funding review process ensures that donor dollars raised to support the Community Fund are invested for maximum impact. All applications are reviewed by a team of local experts that provide recommendations to the Allocations Committee, with final funding approval coming from our local Board of Directors. The number of funded programs and allocated amounts are determined annually by dollars raised in the Districts.
We partner with organizations across North East Ontario in support of programs that help change lives.
