We believe that for our community to truly thrive, we need to look beyond single issues and temporary fixes. By working in partnership with our community, we identify needs and invest in targeted programs that help change lives.
United Way Centraide North East Ontario services the districts of Sudbury, Nipissing, Parry Sound, Manitoulin, Cochrane, and Timiskaming.
We tackle complex social issues like poverty and inequity. We understand these issues to be systemic problems that are fundamental contributing factors to the vulnerabilities many people in our communities are experiencing today and require long-term solutions to break the cycle and create lasting change.
For communities to thrive, the needs of of people living in these communities must be met. That’s why we’re focused on helping people who experience barriers such as: access to nutritious food, safe housing, stable income, and social connections.
