Many children and youth in North Bay lack access to basic hygiene essentials—items that help them feel clean, confident, and ready to learn. United Way Centraide North East Ontario/Nord-est de l’Ontario invites you to take part in “Pack the Plane”, a community-wide hygiene product drive aimed at supporting children and youth in need.
Our goal? To fill the Zenair aircraft at Northgate Shopping Centre with essential hygiene products by April 31, 2025!

Why It Matters
Did you know that 1 in 5 children in Ontario lives in poverty? These simple items can make a big difference in a child’s daily life, helping them feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. All donations will go directly to local organizations that support children and youth in our community.
How You Can Help:
• Host a collection drive at your work or school - set up a donation bin in a central location
• Encourage students and staff to bring in items and spread the word
• Get creative! Organize a challenge, theme days, or incentives to boost participation
